Can be a lot of things.  If this is your problem, please see a doctor as you may have kidney or other problems.  This is not to be taken lightly.

Postassium is needed for normal function of nerve and muscle cells, and is very important for the heart. High potassium stems from kidney problems, and can cause irregular heartbeat, nausea, and slow, weak, or no pulse.  Treatments include dialysis and diuretics.  High potassium is nothing to mess around with; seek medical attention!
