Right click mouse on the house symbol at the upper righthand corner of your screen (next to the star and cog symbols)
Click on Add or change home page
It's important to be on the page you want to use as your home page when you do this as it will show the address of that page at the top of the drop down box and then you can click on "do you want this page to be your home page" and it will do it correctly.
