Yes. They are all over the map. Hence the vast differences in pricing, brightness, length of charge, bulb wattage, etc. Most solar lights don't light up much at all, and are only good to (maybe) mark a path. You (kinda of) get what you pay for. If you can, actually try one at night before you send a lot, because they are usually a disappointment. Better are available, but again, you will pay for them.
