Unless you married your daughter, you can not divorce her. You can however disown her. You actually have no individual rights to see your granddaughter now. You can only see her through your daughters approval. If you disown your daughter, be ready to accept the fact that you may loose the chance of having contact with your granddaughter at all. If your relationship with your daughter is as bad as you make it sound, you risk losing your granddaughter at any moment. Try to fix your relationship with your daughter. Make your granddaughter your priority in doing whatever it takes to mend fences.

You can divorce your son or daughter or vice versa. It has happened in Australia. I don't know about the US. Maybe she is living in the wrong country.
Actually now that you say that, I vaguely remember a movie from the 70's I think it was about a child who divorced his parents. Hmm, funny how divorce can be separate from marriage and have more than one meaning. Gives a good reason for marriage to have more than one meaning......
