Sell the washer and dryer or put in storage . Empty the fridge completely . Buy and old record player and some 45s and get into some old coutry music, play it loud . Eat hard boiled eggs and Dr Pepper and fart . Act like Al Bundy .Kill the wifi or block it .TV goes to storage as well . Bill

Open door, insert foot into annoying one's backside and say bye-bye as you assist him out the door. Then change locks asap.

    Thanks Mel ;)

It depends on wether he has a job or is looking for a job. Many  young people are moving back home because of the ecomony the way it is. You have to have a good paying job these days to live on your own. If he is working, charge him rent . If he is not looking for a job, give him an ultimatum.

and dont forget to stick with it!

    Start charging rent.

Change your locks if she doesnt start contributing and helping dont pay for anything until she gets a job if you do kick her and she has to start on her own she will thank you for not now but one day this is a teaching for her/him in Parenthood you ahve to give tough love good luck

your probely right didnt think it could be a He :)

Sirabi, let me know which method works.  I may have to emulate your success.

Get the F**K out. Worked for me.

Twenty is young in this economy.

I'm the only one? Sheesh. My kids left early.

    Simple,   GET OUT !!

I agree with what everyone else has said and said it all well.  I wish you luck with your own sanity and guilt and whatever else this is going to bring.  Do you have a spouse?  That's helps as long as you both stick together and follow through like carmaxable said.

Pack all their stuff and tell them you're going to find them an apt. Tell them you're going to pay the first month's rent, and the security deposit. This all depends on whether or not he/  she has a job. It they don't-- give them a time line by when they have to get a job.

Put a lock on the fridge door, put the computer and games on the footpath. Turn his room into a bathroom.

FLIP HAS THE ANSWER START CHARGING RENT THAT GOES UP OFTEN , AT SOME POINT THEY WILL HAVE TO LEAVE

simpler answer, nag them to death . It worked for my parents when I was young.
