    How do I retrieve the line that says File Edit,View History,Favourites etc

    I am on Internet explorer and these icons are missing

      You can go to "view" on your Internet Explorer menu bar and then go to "toolbars" and choose what you'd like to see on your toolbar. Also you can go to View->toolbars->Customize... and add whatever button you want to your "current toolbar buttons".
