    Where should you keep the ORIGINAL copy of your will?

    I agree with Gary.  There could be another potential problem with keeping it in the safety deposit box.  It may not be valid especially if there's another will floating around somewhere.  The debate here is if it's in the safe, you might not have been ready to make that will official.  Giving the will to your lawyer to hold is an act that's hard to challenge. 


    The freezing of the account can be overridden in court at some point (not immediately).

    I think best bet is a Safety Deposit Box at your bank.

    Definitely not in safe deposit box. The minute they receive death notice they freeze the contents. Best bet is someone other than beneficiaries whom you can trust.
