You can sync your computer with your phone, using either bluetooth (which is a wireless device connection) or USB or firewire cable, whichever works with your computer and phone. You can then share a calendar, photos, and other files. Smart phones allow you to connect to the internet, answer emails and chat, and this is also updated when you log into those services on your computer.
