My 40th birthday was horrible. My dear husband put a big photograph of me in the paper and under it wrote, “Happy Birthday, Itsmee.” ( Actually, he didn’t put itsmee.) I had dreaded that birthday for a long, long time and then he goes and does that. Well, I got plenty mad and almost left home. I’ve recovered and 40 was a long time ago.  

Nothing could be worse than not having a birthday.

for me it was 13.  I said to myself.   "I'm out of the clocks."  (you know 1 oclock to 12 oclock)  So that was great to me.  And when I turned 21.  That was great to me.   After a certain age, I forgot my age and just live everyday like it is the last.  My philosophy is 'don't worry, be happy.'  That's what i try to teach others.   

Fifty for me was great, I thought I turned fifty for three years running, wow great presents, great parties, a bit dissapointing when I finally realised I was actually 53. Decided there was no time to waste, went hang gliding and intend to learn to fly light aircraft

Id have to say it was my 25th, it just seemed like i was getting old at that point and all my partying days were over. Im 26 now and im dreading hitting 30.

I had problems when I turned 40.
