    What age is to old to father a child for the 1st time? Given he is in good general health. Not physically father but emotional and ability to be a good Dad.

      Good question! If you have the emotional and ability to be a good dad, then be a father. Age should not be a factor!!!

        I think 50 is quite old because by the time your child is 15 you're already in retirement which means that you're supposed to tone down your activity.

            I had a son at 52. No problem except a probable future "generational gap problems" .  I can just see telling him he sounds like a "broken record", only to have him say, "what's a record?"
