    Is there an excel spreadsheet avavilable for keeping a book/magazine inventory?

    You can use an excell spread sheet to keep records of anything.

    Mine include financial accounts... obvious... a house inventery, and literally hundreds for work, listing authors, books titles, stage the book has reached in the editing process, to which publisher/s it was submitted, when and the result, when I know it.

    Experiment. The lines can be as close or as far apart as you choose, with titles in bold. If you have a latge collection it's useful to repeat the titles across the columns at intervals so you can always see them on screen.
