      Poyol,polvhdric alcohol, or polyalcohol is a hydrogenated form of carbohydrates, whose cardonyl group has been reduced to a primary or secondary hydroyl group(hence the alcohol).Xylltol is the most commonly used and does not promote tooth decay.
