Aliens made them from primitive monkeys, so they did have belly-buttons. Eve's ring fell out of her belly-button when Adam jumped her.

Neither Adam nor Eve existed. It is time the myth of the Genesis account of creation was laid to rest. Humans evolved from primates, we were not created by god because god is also a myth.

The answer is likely no.

Reason stated, is the belly button is a reminder of the connection of life between mother and child. It becomes attached when the feotus attaches itself to the fallopian tube. During it's incubation process (of 9 months), it receives its nourishment, its breath, and fecal matter also pass through this tube/cord.

Upon birth, this cord is cut, and the newborn child must come to breathe, eat, and pass its matter on its own.

Adam and Eve were formed from the dust of the ground. The breath that was in them, was breathed into them. They were the first of the human race, to receive the life that has breath in it. From Eve, we have passed on the breath of life through that cord because every life born of woman is connected through such a cord. That tube must be cut. If it survives, it becomes a living soul.

Of the cord, itself, there is some kind of special material in it that science is now trying to utilize to save lives. Even to harvest the blood that comes out of that cord.

So, with Adam & Eve: No belly buttons. They did not need them. They were not born of woman.
