not the same as a woman Adam had 12 sets of ribs until God put him into a deep sleep and opened his flesh and removed one of his ribs to make a woman, so Adam now has 11 sets and one extra and Eve has 12 sets and one extra Read Genesis Chapter 2 verse 21: And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rob, which the Lord God had taken from man, made hi a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of Man.and now when man leaves his parents house and cleaves with a woman the 23 ribs of man combined with 25 ribs of the woman then they will be complete. So man has 12 minus one = 24 and woman has 24 plus one from man.
