        My dad just gave me beer, or if I were sick he'd give me a combination of hot tea, whiskey, and lemon, or just Nyquil.

          That's still o.k. to do in some parts of Europe, and it was fine in the 70's and 80's. It would probably be grounds for Child Services to take away your kids these days, especially in MA.

          Did everyone see this question, wow what a book huh? My parents wrote a different version of it in the seventies, it was drink this and go to sleep, no you can't stay awake for the Carrol Burnett show, Damn it.
