Do you have file listed on your tool bar? You should see, File, Edit, History, Bookmarks, Tools, etc. If yes click on file and see the drop down menu. Print will be there. Click print and a box should pop up showing your printer.

Try unplugging all the attachments from the printer to your PC. If you still have the manual, follow the same steps you did when you first installed it but DON'T place the software disk inside the disk reader.
Your PC should read the presence of the device when you attached the proper cords in the order you did when you first installed it. If this doesn't work I would go into your programs and UNINSATALL the printer. Then RE-INSTALL the printer using the software disk that came with the device.

If THAT don't work then THROW THE DAMN THING IN THE TRASH and buy a NEW ONE. They are cheap.

I might be quick but you thought of the fact that maybe his computer isn't finding the printer anymore ; )

rite click on either side of the browser this will get the file section to open will give you a drop down menu click on ststus bar
