Internet Explorer

1. Close any open Internet Explorer windows.

2. Click the "Start" button to open the start menu from your desktop.

3. Click on the "Settings" button from the start menu and select "Control Panel." A window will open with several icons in it.

4. Click the icon for "Add/Remove Programs" and wait while the list of installed programs loads.

5. Find the toolbar by scanning the list of installed programs. Once you locate it, click on the "Change/Remove" to the right of the name.

6. Open Internet Explorer, and the toolbar should be gone.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open your Firefox browser and click "Tools" at the top of the window.

2. Click on "Extensions" from the drop-down menu that appears.

3. Locate the unwanted toolbar and click on it. Click on the "Uninstall" button and click "OK" on the confirmation message that appears.

4. Click "Restart Now" on the prompt to restart, which will allow your changes to take effect.
