My girlfriend's daughter has a rare form of Leukemia too. That's why I asked the question. I think she's made up her mind NOT to have chemo, b/c she heard that Leukemia pateints who have it----die.
My brother's friend and neighbor had a bone marrow trans for Leukemia, but he then died of Pneumonia too :-(
He still had school aged kids then .
