    Which vegetables can you steam to blanch them for freezing - and how long for?

    You can blanch most vegetables in order to freeze them. Usually you blanch for 1 to 2 minutes and then put the veggies in cold and/or iced water to stop the cooking. Let them cool, dry them off and then place in freezer bags and pop them in freezer.
