    There is no set amount of time for a will reading to take place. In fact there is no legal requirement that wills be read out loud. The only legal requirement is that a copy of the will be filed in the county court office where the deceased person lived. Typically the lawyers in charge of an estate contact the heirs. They often send a copy of the will for them to view.



    How ever long it takes to get all family members together and make an appointment with the attorney.
