Do you know how to catch wild pigs? You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again.
You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat; you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught.

It seems like to me that the government is the problem. We have a president who has mostly done nothing to help the country recover from the recession. We have a congress that are to busy fighting amongst themselves, to make any progress for the good of the nation.

I have had to deal with a work related accident, and have had to accept help from governmental insurance for the first time in my life, only because I have no other options. I appreciate the insurance being there for me, but I wouldn't even have considered using it before.

The problem is that it's extremely difficult to find a good job or even a crappy job. Sometimes when the government can help, it's a good thing. But, I don't depend on them to fix my problems. When so many people take advantage of a system that was designed to give people temporary help, that can become a huge problem as well. Some people go on to unemployment insurance or food stamp program for life.

That is a huge problem, we need to be responsible with government programs, and some people just take advantage of them. The government should make sure that these lifers get good job training, helping them to become self reliant. I know that if I can pay all of my bills on my own it makes me feel good about myself.

Randy is 100% right. To many people in this country depend on the government to solve their problems. Almost 50 million people R on food stamps. We have given up our freedom, just like Washington wants. Millions upon millions receive a monthly check 4 veterans benefits, (which most of them deserve) housing,unemployment, farmers&big business receiving subsidies and the list goes on. In Europe where the governments take care of the people from cradle to grave they R going broke. I bet the Chinese people R laughing!
