    can hosta be grown indoors in fl.

    I don't think it would do as well as outside. As long as it is in the shade, it doesn't matter where it is grown. I understand what you're saying, because Florida is so hot, but it is also humid and I think that the hosta might like that, just don't plant it where it gets sun on it except a little first thing in the morning.
