Rural Urban Suburban are general designations given by the some government agencies (often used for determining grants and tax incentives). Not all agencies use the same break downs or terms (exa. some may use Metropolitan Areas). Furthermore, agencies who use Rural, Urban, and Suburban often define those differently than other agencies.
