Any changes would have to be with your birth certificates bureau in Alabama it is located in Montgomery I had to change/amend my Mom's death certificate and I spoke with them on the phone a very nice young lady helped me and took the information if I remember correctly she faxed me a sheet to sign and I refaxed to her and gave her my debit card over the phone to order the amended death certificates. Bear in mind you need to get as many as you think you will need at that time because the first one cost the most and the copies ordered at the same time are a lot cheaper. If you choose to go back and re-order more at a later date you have to pay the high cost for the first one again and the others ordered at the same time are cheaper. Hope this helps?
