    you could transfere the service to your own phone, but if it's their number, probally not without permission
    If the number/service is in your name, then the company really can't do much.

    Even if the company covered your phone costs while you were there - they don't have an implied right to your property.

    Now, if you allowed the company to publish your number, or your number was a primary point of business for the company - then that is a different thing. The company could claim loss of business in that case, and could force you to release the number.
