    In state of Virginia if you get food stamps and your ex is over $5,000,00 in debt in child support in paying you.Can can Dept. of Social Service make you pay back the food stamps.Even though I have bills that need to be payed

    I can't pay my bills and I have about $4,000 in bills I owe that includes bills for my terminal child.My ex has never payed me my child support he has only pay me about $400. for the whole year.

      Call the Dept of Social Services and talk to them, only they can help you with all your questions. They will be able to tell you if you need to pay back food stamps and possibly how to get the back child support your ex owes you.
