I cracked a rib playing Racquetball when I was 26. It was sore but I thought it was just a bruise......THEN MY GIRLFRIEND HUGGED ME.
The pain was unbearable. I knew then that her hug was squeezing my rib cage tighter and that I must have broken a rib. Went to the doctor and found out it was a hairline fracture. He said there wasn't much I could do about it but wrap my rib/chest with a couple of Ace bandages until it healed.

By the way......my girlfriend went on to hugging SOMEONE ELSE two weeks later....hussy. :(
