      If they are swimming upside down it's probably a swim bladder problem. Does it have white speckles? In that case it might have ick and be trying to "itch" itself. Otherwise its most likely a normal behavior.

        Fish are territorial, they use landmarks in the tank to define their territory, just move the things around in the tank and they will have to redesign their borders, I'm not sure about the rubbing part? Maybe they have Ick?Google a search and find out, good luck hope this helps?
