The winners in the US version of The Amazing Race receive a grand prize of 1 million dollars. While still in competition the contestents receive a stipend of $100 per each "leg" of the race. They can also win prizes of varying values, from $1000 to $100,000 by accomplishing different tasks and arriving first place to pit stops
