There is some part of this that don compute. First its a mountain bike !!!!!!! Dont you go crazy places with one of those????????  Handle bars are a important control device and you are asking how to do something with them . This means you most likely dont have the right tools. So from a old man to a young person ,do yourself a favor and get a pro to do the job ,watch if you can then the job is done safely and you have proper instruction and you leave with the right tools. Saves a trip to the emergency room as well.Advoiding this will more than cover the cost of the pro. I hope you have a harmonious out come. If not I look forward to seeing your adventure on late night TV  Choose wisely
