I love cooking and this is a old recipe from my grandmother u should use driping fat from the beef if your in the states then i dont know what it called any way if not use butter about 2oz then in sauce pan let it melt then had about tbls of plain flour had this to butter and make what they call a roux this will now go into a ball then add water half way up the sauce pan and using a whisk to get the flour and the butter to melt away keep whisking had a beef stock cube and if you have it add marmite if not vegimite about 1 tsp and if you want to you could add 1 tsp of mint sauce and it taste fab good luck takes about 12 mins
