Why is the Forestry compass east and west reversed

The U.S. Foestry compass Has West to the right And East to the left of North, and every compass I know Has East to the right of North, CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH why the U.S. COMPASS IS DIFFERENT?

Some compasses are viewed through a prism, (sort of like looking in a mirror) in order to be able to survey the land at the same time, and therefore it would make the east and west accurate.
