THERE IS AN INEXSPENSIVE SWITCH ON THE OUTSIDE OF TRANNY THAT GOES BAD ON SOME GMS

    Best guess, bad trans.

bull chevys are still relible if matained right it is just some old vacum lines going from the round pod on the rightside finder to the transfercase or frontaxle
In America it has been the practice of auto manafacturers since time and memorial to build anything they build with built in obsolesence. In the old days ninetheenth century this wasn't so. American made ment quality or the best it could be. It took the Japanese to show us how to make a decent running four cilider, engine. Honda engines and toyota are great. Anyone that has purchased an Amereican made car with a four cylinder engine will agree. The old Model A's and T's ran great, but had bult in obsolesence. No brag just fact. Shilohskid!
    It's American made.
