    The difference is that LED is light emmiting diode & LCD is Liquid crystal display. The LED do offer a slighly better picture espescialy if it is "backlit". However the LCD (full HD) are an exellent buy too. I have 2 HD LCD TVs and picture quality on both is first class. LCD TVs are also cheaper.

    My pleasure.
    One uses light emiting diodes display, the other uses liquid crystal display. LED's are supposed to be more energy efficient.
