There are a couple ways depending on how many sprinklers you have set up. If it is small, in other words all of your sprinkers can operate at once, you can get a "Y" connector from your local garden store. One side is used for your sprinkler system, the other side is used to connect a hose to for other watering purposes, and you just turn the valve on the connector for which one you want to use.
If you have "zones" set up for several areas of sprinklers, you can set up a manifold of control valves, either mechanical or electronic. Then connect one side your Y connector to your manifold.
