    English/American?

It was once said by someone a lot cleverer than me, that Britain and America are two countries divided by a common language. I will start with a few examples. Just for fun, how many can you add. Car boot / Trunk, Tap / Faucett, Trousers / Pants, Braces / Suspenders, Etc, Etc.

Colleen, you must live in a strange apartment. I call my loft an attic.

I live in a house. My attic is an attic. There are lofts in England. Have a friend there who lives in one and that's what she calls it.
