    Should one take out an extended warranty on an LG brand LCD/LED flat screen TV ?

    I purchased a 55 inch LG flat screen TV model 55LE5400. The one year factory warranty will be up in several months. LG offers a Premium Care Plan, in effect an extended warranty.The price for 2 years of coverage is $202.68

      Don't do it...it's pretty much a BS warranty/guarantee created by those who wish to separate you some more from your hard earned monies!
