        I do not like them too rich for my taste. And you have to remember they use pigs to find them. Yuk.

          The closest (and it is not very close) is a bit like a cepe/porccini mushroom but slight stronger in taste and more earthy.

          For a cheaper but still expensive way to try buy some truffle oil and taste!

            Like something a pig dug up! Just kidding...though pigs do help to sniff the truffles out for the truffle farmers.

            They say truffles take on the taste of whatever you season them with - like spices, sauces, and sweet liquors, for instance.

            Wish I knew more about it all.
