It depends upon what government you are speaking about. In the USA, it used to be that if your were married for 10 years that your were "vested" in your partner's future Social Security pension. But you may have earned more SS on your own. They used to stop the pension if you remarried, but it now depends upon your AGE. So check the social security or pension website. You may be missing out on some valuable funds for your livelihood. Good luck in your new marriage!
