The education you need to become a kindergarten teacher is a four-years degree in elementary education at an accredited university.
You will also need to prove you have some experience: go and sit in kindergarten classrooms as an undergrad and collect different recommendation notes, awards, pictures, records and examples of projects. All of these will give you an advantage in a job interview. Give examples that are relevant such as ideas of games for children (alphabet, numbers etc.).
Make a portfolio with all the relevant information that can make you stick out. Be creative!
    Good Luck!
