I believe you're asking whether or not you can keep your dog, either when you are under some kind of medication yourself or if your pet itself is on some sort of meds that make it beneficial to him/her to be in a vets care...either way...call the humane society in your area and I think they can assist you with this problem

So you're trying to get medical marijuana to help what, calm your dog down? Hey listen if your in California, you can just shop doctors until you find one that will provide you with a legitimate examination of the condition you didn't realize you had, which qualifies you for your own legitimate prescription of marijuana! I've heard it's pretty easy.

Are you living in an apartment that restricts you from havinng a dog? If this is the case and you are thinking of making your dog a service dog or companion dog. Then you may need a medical requiremnt. How ever if you want info on that and you are disabled go to search engine, type in ADA,org. (American disabilities A.) It will give you all the information you need. Then go to Dept. of Justice.gov. and it will tell you legalities etc. You can train your own dog to be a service dog, but it takes knowledge, patients, and time. Then when you have your dog trained and you get your certificate NO ONE CAN STOP YOU FROM HAVING YOUR DOG
