can i claim disability for early parkinsons disease,with cervical myelopathy
i have had the symtoms for parkinsons for the past 2 years
i have now been diagnosed with the illness by the doctors ,consultans at the hallamshire hospital at shefield
i shake all the time ,suffer with stiff joints etc

If, I were you, I'd apply. Because it can take awhile to get disability, it states a condition that prevents substantial working/earnings that has lasted/or is expected at least a year. It took me almost 5yrs. in Fla. to receive mine due to blindness and deafness. They (SSA) sent me to a general MD versus a Eye Specialist, YES, the back benefits was GREAT but, that didn't pay the bills while one waits. GOOD LUCK!!
