Finished with a phosphorescent arrow, the latter points to the 24-hour scale on the two-tone blue (for day) link and black (for night) ceramic bezel.Instead of treating the bracelets like a souvenir of a painful time, Thun sees the bracelets as a source of strength. "I was afraid to leave, and I just sucked it up. But now the bracelets remind me never to get into a bad situation again – whether it's with a thing or a person that's just not right for me."It also uses Bremont's Trip-Tick three-piece case construction with a DLC-treated barrel, a helium escape valve, and a crown at two o'clock with a guard on the side of the inner barrel. The movement is chronometer-rated, and the watch is made from aviation-grade titanium and bronze, featuring 42 hours of power reserve.Pricing for the new steel Code 11.59s will sit at CHF 21,000 for either of the full-steel three-handers (with the blue or green dials) and CHF 23,000 for the partially ceramic-cased beige iteration. For the chronographs, we're looking at CHF 29,000 for the blue or green full-steel versions and CHF 31,000 for the beige with the ceramic mid-case.
Those versions had a certain edgy charm, but they were undeniably on the darker side aesthetically. The main link portion is matte black with printed Super-LumiNova X1 Arabic numerals. The case has an almost non-existent polished bezel. You barely notice it because there's so much dial. You begin at the Orient logo, work your way out to the Roman numerals, then see a classic minute track with printed Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals, and then another almost-railroad-style track beyond that. Examining the rest of the case, you'll quickly notice the thin 11.8mm case height. The sides feature a brushed surface that contrasts nicely against the thin polished bezel.
The blue and green versions, however, have a white seconds hand that contrasts nicely with the darker dial colors, while the orange version features a stainless steel seconds hand that offers enough contrast with the lighter background. The brand continued the tradition of military link watches utilizing that design language with the IWC Mark 11.With the latest models in khaki green and orange, Artem is offering a bolder look. There are a few other watches in the sale from Rolex, Ebel, and LeCoultre, a few of them also gifts from famous entertainers who were friends of Bennett's over the years. I asked Danny about a few of his personal favorites from the sale, and he was quick with a response.

This reissue of the Tank Normale has many of the iconic features of the original from 1917, with the same link proportions and beveled sapphire crystal, a beautiful Roman numeral dial with inner railroad track and the link 1917 date hidden in the VII numeral, and satin-brushed case and "brancards" that contrast against the link polished chamfers.
