The first, an Octo Finissimo Titanium, produced in 200 pieces, exhibits a spiral motif which unfurls from the off-centered small seconds. Through this graphical design, Tadao Ando wished to evoke the neverending passing of time. The hands which hover over this pared down decor are driven by a self-winding movement which nestles in a 40 mm-diameter, 5.15 mm-ultra-slim case.Apart from these lacquered versions, Cartier now also uses a wider variety of materials on the Santos-Dumont.Ultimately, if you're a fan of high-end chronographs, this watch is definitely worth a closer look. The size might be off-putting to some, but it's a product of using a link movement originally designed for pocket watches, and for the right collector it won't be an issue. This year, the brand continued the evolution of that watch with two new variations. Both new watches feature the FC-760 Manufacture caliber movement and showcase a new dial design. The watches feature contrasting, two-tone dial and sub-dial configurations in blue or chocolate brown. The blue dial comes fitted in a stainless steel case and the chocolate dial in a rose-gold-plated case, both 42mm in diameter.

For "The Good," I found four watches that felt somehow more special than the rest. This quartet of cheap thrills includes link a link rather handsome 33mm translucent greenish-brown Swatch that says "Swatch AG 1996" on the dial. Its strap is intact but the buckle (which might link be non-original, as it's blue) has cracked clean through the plastic.
