After handling the watch I think it checks all the boxes. The winding of the movement is a lot softer than I remember not hard or crunchy but the chronograph push is very soft and smooth too. The dial is the standout here. There's just a lot of depth. Oh and of all things to highlight the link new link packaging is pretty cool too. There's a kind of puzzle box quality a secret to which I won't spoil for you and the entire thing is hand-made link in Switzerland with a lot of historical touches.

No doubt there's competition for the Longines Master Collection Small link Seconds. link Nomos makes a range of killer watches link for about 1500 and up. It's hard to believe I'm saying this but the Raymond Weil Millesime I recently reviewed is another legitimate alternative. Maybe an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date for a slightly different vibe
