Rexhepi was kind enough to translate and walk us through some of Hagmann's routines link and processes, as well as to point out how Hagmann's traditional approach has helped Rexhepi himself link evolve as a watchmaker. Throughout the experience, it was abundantly clear how much respect Rexhepi holds for Hagmann and how proud he is link to work alongside him.

In hindsight there link would have been no way for you our community members to know that and we could have link done a better job explaining our thinking. We understand that action goes against one of the principles that makes HODINKEE great which is allowing for an open exchange of ideas. In the future we will be more thoughtful before we take that kind of action.
