Olive Oil works great for babies with colic.
Give them a teaspoon full, and in 15-20 minutes, they are quiet.

I wouldn't put anything in the bottle except milk formula. If your baby has colic you may need to change the formula to one that does not contain Iron which may bother the baby's stomach. I was unfortunate enough to have that happen to my daughter. When I changed her formula from Similac to Infamil her colic went away.

Many people firmly believe in putting a colicy child in a car and go for a ride until the baby falls asleep, or in a stroller for the same effect.
