      No....I haven't had a flu shot this season.

        Do you take any preventive measures other than immunization, in hope that you won't become afflicted?

        My son and I each had a flu shot in 2010 or 2011 when he registered for school. I don't remember, but I think it was free.
        I don't recall ever catching flu. If I've ever had it, it was such a long time ago that I don't remember.
        I'm very aware that I'm getting older and I'm beginning to see and feel the aging process....but, I have never been a "sickly person".

        Do I take "Preventative Measures"? Sure, I do.....I tell people to stay the " " away from me if they are sick. :))

        Both me and the wife get the jab every year,i got it one year when i did not get the jab..i remember sitting up all night on the lounge fully believing i was gonna die..the flue shot will not stop the flue,,but it will lower the symptoms,,and make it easier to recover..

          Not yet, but I will get one! Had the flu one time as an older person and believe me if I can avoid it! I will!!!

            The flu is not to be trivialized. It doesn't care if you're young and strapping in excellent health, or old and infirmed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Influenza_pandemic

            Spot on Clonge,,some people have to nearly die from the flu before they realize how serious it is,,the problem is the grandkids tend to bring all these things home from school to the oldies..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

            Nope, don't get a flu shot. Only had the flu once many years ago, shortly after I got the flu shot. I'm not worried about getting it. I just do the usual, eat healthy, exercise, don't let infected people in my house. I do wish that more people would cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze and use a hanker chief/kleenex instead of their hand. Ick!

                Always get it so absolutely that I forget the when part. My sister used to give me mine in her home. I believe in them though my habits can be so welcoming to germs I feel my immune system is plenty up to date....
