I was running to the ocean and a car was coming at about 3 or 5 mph. I kept running, the car kept coming and eventually I ran into the side of the vehicle. Knocked myself out cold. Oh, body surgery, dental surgery. I absolutely love to be knocked out these days. A mere interruption in your wakefulness. Come to and walk out......

The beauty of patina to me is all about the personality it adds to link the watch. After over 50 years it somehow has taken on a distinct personality of its own and will continue to evolve in the next 50 years as well. No one knows exactly how and why a patina develops on a particular piece in the way it does but perhaps that's what keeps us intrigued by vintage watches. And this one link quietly but definitely spoke link to me.
