People who know that I have food intolerances often ask how I can eat 'health food' every day. I try to explain that I don't eat 'health food', I just eat food that is prepared in a different way, with some substitutes. Once they eat food that I have cooked for them, they are shocked that it is actually delicious. I get asked for the recipe and that is very rewarding.

Sometimes if I sense that their mind is already made up about 'health food', I don't bother explaining. If they are in my age group, they are most often taking several prescription drugs and very overweight. Oh well....

Can't think of anything I eat that raises eyebrows, except escargot.

 You will never find me enjoying oysters or liver.

Toasted Vegemite and Cheese.. there are even some Aussies that do not like Vegemite..i reckon they are really foreigners masquerading as Aussies..:):):):)..>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Vindaloo.....   Roy doesn't  understand how I can eat something that is so hot.

He can't handle spicy foods and he seems to believe the spiciness masks the flavour.  I respond by telling him that he's a bit wimpy and   that the heat from all the herbs and spices makes the Vindaloo even tastier.
